Over the past 10 years, I’ve been elected to lead five separate Boards. That experience matters — because I’ve seen firsthand what works, what doesn’t, and how to step in and make improvements when things aren't working.
I’d like to highlight one example: In early 2021, I gave a public presentation as the Chairman of the Spotsylvania Department of Social Services Advisory Board. I made the case to the Board of Supervisors about the impacts and consequences of not supporting the Department’s funding request. That presentation was detailed, respectful, and solutions-based— and it got attention and support.
That’s the kind of leadership I’ll bring to the School Board: experienced, commonsense, and committed to getting results that matter to you.
