The Spotsylvania Board of Supervisors will meet on September 11th at 4:30 p.m. at the Holbert Building.
There is a staff presentation scheduled for County retiree health benefits changes and 7 public hearings for this meeting.
The seven public hearings are:
Amendments and Additions to County Code Chapter 4, Animals and Fowl (Dog Licenses, Lifetime Provisions)
Budgeting of 2018 Bond Sale Proceeds
Jackson Village and Alexander Crossing Special Service District
2 Zoning Ordinance Amendments (Rezonings and Site Plans)
Rezoning Application: Palmer's Creek (Lee Hill District) located on Route 1 about 1 mile south of Spotsylvania Parkway. Project calls for 400 apartments and up to 40,000 square feet of commercial space. This project originally failed 2-2 at the Planning Commission on July 18, 2018. After a traffic design presentation to the Planning Commission on August 15, 2018 it was recommended for approval 4-1.
Special Use Permit: Columbia Gas of Virginia wants to install a Pipeline Inspection Gauge on property located at 15213 Spotswood Furnace Road (Chancellor District)
