Spotsylvania Planners Delay Vote on Crucible

At the February 3rd Planning Commission meeting, approximately 37 citizens spoke against the project. Six spoke in favor of the project, but 3 identified themselves as Stafford residents. Based on the minimal commentary from the Commissioners, it seems there may already be 3 votes against supporting the project. It is anticipated that the Planning Commission will make a final recommendation at their March 3rd meeting. The public comment period for this Rezoning and Special Use Permit applications were closed. Public comments can be presented again when this case reaches the Board of Supervisors.
