The Spotsylvania Planning Commission will meet on May 19th at 5:00 p.m. on the third floor of the Merchant Square Building for a work session that is open to the public.

Special Use Permit: Claiborne Verizon Cell Tower/ Gilman Land and Timber LLC (Berkeley District) The applicant requests to develop a 195-foot monopole communication tower with a 4-foot lightning rod, for a total of 199 feet located approximately 706 feet east of Flippo Drive (Route 634) and approximately 1500 feet west of the Caroline County line.

Barley Wood Amendment - Courtland District. The Barley Woods PDH-4 rezoning was approved with proffers by the Board of Supervisors on January 14, 2014 enabling the development of an one hundred and thirty (130) age-restricted single-family attached and detached community, with a maximum density of approximately 4 units per acre.
