September 16, 2020 - Planning Commission Work Session/Meeting (WITH VIDEO LINK)

The Spotsylvania Planning Commission will meet on September 16th at 5:00 p.m. on the third floor of the Merchant Square Building for a work session that is open to the public.

The Work Session agenda items are below.

  • Rezoning Applicant Patricia P. Preston (CeresHarrisonLand LLC) Courtland District: Applicant requesting to rezone approximately 58.611 acres to develop not more than 110 single-family detached dwellings, with a maximum density of approximately 2 units per acre. The parcel is addressed as 5430 Harrison Road (RT. 620) and is approximately 1835 feet east of the intersection with Twin Springs Drive (RT. 1299).

The Spotsylvania Planning Commission will meet on September 16th at 7:00 p.m. in the Holbert Building.

There is one public hearing scheduled:

  • Rezoning: Springhaven Holding, LLC - Courtland District: The rezoning will allow for the development of 30 single family attached dwellings in clusters of 2, with a density of 4.6 dwelling units per acre. The by-right development potential of the subject site is 4 single family detached dwellings. The property is on the south side of Five Mile Road and addressed as 12300 Five Mile Road (Route 675) and is approximately 730 feet north of the intersection with Plank Road (Route 3). Staff recommends approval with proffers dated August 17, 2020.
