The Spotsylvania Planning Commission will meet on August 15th at 7:00 p.m. in the Holbert Building.
The Planning Commission will reconsider their July 18th vote that failed 2-2 for the Palmer's Creek rezoning request. Palmer's Creek calls for 400 apartments and up to 40,000 square feet of commericial space on Route 1 about 1 mile south of Spotsylvania Parkway.
There is one Public Hearing for a Special Use Permit request from Columbia Gas to install a Pipeline Inspection Gauge on a 6 acre lot zoned rural in the Chancellor District at 15213 Spotswood Furnace Road.
The Planning Commission will also have a Work Session to discuss revision to the Comprehensive Plan, specifically the Future Land Use and Primary Development Boundary sections.
