On August 23, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) held a public hearing for the Route 17 Overpass Replacement and Widening Project. If you were unable to attend VDOT is accepting public comments until September 2.
Information on how to submit comments is below. If you have suggestions VDOT does consider them. For example, notable alterations to the Rappanhannock River I-95 SB project were made following comments from that public hearing. I have attached some photos below, but visit Route 17 Overpass Replacement and Widening to get better resolution photos and more information. The estimated completion date is Fall 2022
