April 25, 2017 - Board of Supervisors Approve Incentive Package With Cyber Security Firm

On April 25th, the Board of Supervisors voted 7-0 to approve an incentive agreement with RPI Group, Inc., which is a cyber security firm. The firm will relocate it's corporate headquarters from the Breezewood Office Park in the Battlefield voting district to the Deep Run Office Park in the Lee Hill voting district. Under the agreement, RPI must create a minimum of eight additional jobs, paying at least $85,000 annually and maintain those jobs for at least two years. The company will receive $5,000 per job plus a $60,000 or five year rebate of the Business, Professional and Occupational (BPOL) tax.
