The Spotsylvania Planning Commission will meet on October 18th at 7:00 p.m. in the Holbert Building.
There will be a review of a new Lee Hill District Wheatland Station sub-division plat located at 9700 Jim Morris road. The Planning Commission approval is a formality as long as the plat was reviewed by the Technical Review Committee and meets the Ordinance requirements. Below is a copy of the plat of the new sub-division.
Planning Commission Summary: The Wheatland Station preliminary plat is a subdivision of 10.5 acres to create 98 single-family attached lots and is the result of a rezoning (R14-0007) which was approved December 9, 2014. The lot sizes range from 1,400 to 2,700 square feet and 5.55 acres will be preserved as open space for the development. Access to the development is from Jim Morris Road and the internal streets will be private. The lots will be served by public water and sewer. The site lies within the Primary Development Boundary on tax parcel 37-A-56 and in the Lee Hill Voting District.
There will also be a public hearing on Solar Energy facilities Ordinance .
