April 27, 2021 - Board of Supervisors Meeting (WITH VIDEO LINK)

The Spotsylvania Board of Supervisors will meet on April 27th at 6:00 p.m. at the Holbert Building.

There are two staff presentations scheduled:

  • VOTE - Rezoning: KW Commercial, LLC (Bonaventure Investments, LLC) - Lee Hill District: The applicant proposes to build 50 age-restricted units and a 4-story building with 147 multi family units. Overall the project totals 197 units and is located at the intersection of Spotsylvania Avenue and Market Street. Staff is recommending approval. On February 17th, the Planning Commission voted 7-0 to recommend approval. This vote was delayed at the request of Supervisor Marshall at the March 23, 2021 meeting.

  • Short-term Rentals and Regulation Recommendations

There is one public hearing scheduled:

  • Rezoning: Robert W. Pierce (Creighton Companies, LLC) - Battlefield District: Applicant requests a rezoning of approximately 1.82 acres from Commercial 2 (C-2) to Commercial 3 (C-3) with proffers for the development of a convenience store and fuel dispensing service. The properties are located at the southeast quadrant of the Courthouse Road (Route 208) and Hood Drive (Route 636) intersection, and addressed as 10803 Courthouse Road and 10805 Courthouse Road. Staff recommends approval. On April 21, the Planning Commission voted 7-0 to recommend approval.
