The Spotsylvania Board of Supervisors will meet on March 27th at 6:00 p.m. in the Holbert Building.
Among the more notable agenda items, a FY19 Budget Work Session is scheduled, Board Retreat locations discussion, and a discussion on salary adjustment for the Planning Commissioners.
The Board Retreat date was set at a prior Board meeting for May 12, 2018. This meeting is intended to be more informal and allow Supervisors to discussion strategic plans for the County to address long-term issues.
The Planning Commission pay adjustment was last discussed by the Board in May 2016. Supervisor Skinner proposed increasing their salary by $400 per month over a 3 year period. A salary adjustment ultimately failed 2-5 with support only from Supervisors Trampe and Skinner. If Supervisor Skinner's proposal was accepted it would has made Planning Commissioners' salary equal to School Board members.
