Regional Commission Delays Decision on $2 Million State Affordable Housing Grant

The below linked article provides background information from the GWRC’s September meeting on a decision on whether to accept a $2 million state grant to assist with developing affordable housing. On October 25th, the GWRC received additional information and did not take a vote on the grant application. Instead the the GWRC will allow staff to collect proof of concepts that could be supported with this grant funding. At a later date, a final decision will be made.
