Board of Supervisors Vote to Eliminate Trash Dumping Fee From Budget Scenario

On April 14th, the Board of Supervisors voted 6-1 (Supervisor Yakabouski dissented) to eliminate the proposed $100 trash dumping fee - which seemed to include additional money for convenience site access decals. This creates an additional $1.5 million gap to the budget scenario presented on April 9th. At the meeting, the County Administrator suggested he would look to reduce cash funding to capital projects to address this gap.
