On December 16th, the Spotsylvania School Board will hold a public hearing on the potential renaming of Robert E. Lee Elementary School located on Brock road in the Berkeley District. Previously, the School Board held a forum that included 21 individuals (7 School Board members invited two speakers each) to express their views on the potential renaming. Of the 14 individuals selected 2 expressed support of keeping the current Robert E. Lee name.
