Study Finds Fredericksburg Area Housing is Still Unaffordable for Many

"A renter in Spotsylvania County needs to make $66,600 annually—or an hourly wage of $32—to afford a two-bedroom apartment at fair market rent, according to a new report."

In the past 4 years, the Board of Supervisors have been quick to provide economic incentives to private businesses, but have generally fallen short on working with developers to provide a better price range of housing options in the county.
