Spotsylvania County Supervisors Consider Creating Stormwater Fund

For a Board that continues to have difficulties providing County employees with market-rate pay to be considering additional program expenditures is concerning. The Board recently voted to provide Public Safety personnel with a new pay structure with surplus revenue. Courtland Supervisor Ross suggested surplus revenue could be put into this new fund. The policies of our leaders too often do not square with their willingness to advocate for a tax rate to support it.
