Lansdowne Road Repair Starts April 9th - Road Closure Notice

The City of Fredericksburg will temporarily close Lansdowne Road to all traffic beginning Monday, April 9 to repair a sinkhole. 

Recently, crews discovered a sinkhole which had formed near the edge of the roadway and permanent repairs must be made to prevent it from affecting the travel lanes.  

Lansdowne Road will close to traffic beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 9 and will remain closed until the project is complete. 

Weather permitting, work is anticipated to take three weeks to complete.
