Army Veteran Trades in Food Truck for Cosner Corner Restaurant

Check out Cathy Jett's article on Army Veteran Matt Strickland and his wife Maria's journey from the Army to the restaurant world.

In Cosner Corner, Gourmeltz, which prides itself on using local or Virginia-made products, when possible, has traded its two Food Trucks to open a restaurant.

It's main ingredient cheese - comes from Stonyman Gourmet Farming in the Shenandoah Valley - and the menu includes a variety of custom creations. The restaurant also touts its unique local wines, beers, and spirits.
