Spotsy Couple Provides Example of Selfless Service to Community
This is a much deserved recognition for Judy and Kent Schrader’s two decades of service to 79 children in Spotsylvania County. Their willingness to welcome teenagers that found themselves caught in the system filled a major void in our community. As a CASA volunteer, I was able to work with them firsthand on one case and their dedication and patience with their children was easy to observe. Their efforts over the last 20 years has undoubtedly altered the trajectories of people’s lives. They are the behind-the-scene heroes in our community. I’m glad the Free Lance-Star found them and told their story.
